Azan/Adhaan
Five times a day, at dawn, noon, late afternoon, dusk and evening, Muslims are called to salat (prayer) when they hear the Adhan. The purpose of Adhan is to call people to the mosque for the mandatory prayers. However, the prayers can be performed anywhere, including at home or in the workplace. In Muslim countries, the Adhan is broadcast from a minaret (a mosque's tower), where it is either recited by a muezzin (the person who calls the Adhan) or played from a recording. Computer programs and digital clocks programmed to call the Adhan are also available. The Call to Prayer is done in Arabic only.
Listen live or download call for prayer (Azan/Adhaan). I have placed Azan from different regions and from different reciters.
I bet its soothing to ears and refreshing to senses. Anybody depressed, worried about something or whatever, listen it couple of times to gain calm and satisfaction (Doesn't matter in case you donot understand it. Its in Arabic language always.
There is English translation of Azan also in simple words to give you a clue about what's in the Azan).
You will feel full awake and alert reflexes while becoming kind of serious in the process of listening this. Try these all to suit your ears. Empty your mind, relax, turn on headphones and give it a try.
